The Scheme
The Fresh-eating reward scheme is administered by and remains the property of Stirling Council, who reserve the right to decline issue or withdraw the scheme at any time without notice.
The scheme will operate from August 2010 to June 2011.
All participants in the scheme must be secondary school pupils within a Stirling Council run school and must have a swipe card or for McLaren High School a Young Scot card. Pupils who use the biometric system in Bannockburn High School can also register for the scheme.
Cards are not transferable, and can only be used by the person whose name is on the card.
Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of Stirling Council.
Points
To earn points for a transaction in fresh-eating, your card must be presented at the till point.
Pupils can only use their cards to purchase food for their own consumption. Regular checks will be carried out and pupils found to be buying food for others to collect points will not be entitled to rewards. Capping limits will be in operation over the day.
Points can be collected from 17 August 2010 until 10 June 2011. All points will be set to zero at the end of the scheme. No points will be carried over to the next academic year.
Rewards
Points will be collected to potentially gain rewards as shown on the website. (Please note: There are a set amount of rewards available).
The top 80 pupils in Stirling’s secondary schools with the highest points will each receive a £100 amazon voucher (Please note: If there is a tie which results in more than 80 top pupils, the value of the amazon voucher will reduce appropriately).
A reward can be removed/replaced without notice, and rewards are subject to availability.
Should a reward become unavailable Stirling Council reserve the right to send an equivalent replacement.
The top 80 point earners will be calculated before the end of the academic year.
